About Sanya:

Sanya is the southernmost city in Hainan province, China.

It has an area of 1919.6 square kilometers.  With six gorgeous bays, it boasts the best white-sand beach and turquoise sea water in Asia. This coastal city is nestling among hills, with two quiet rivers running through it. The highest elevation of Sanya is the Luhuitou Peak Park that overlooks the whole city.

Starting from 2002,tourist groups of more than five people from 21 countries have been allowed to visit Hainan visa-free.These countries include: Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand,the Philippines,Indonesia,Germany,the UK, France,Austria, Italy, Russia,Switzerland,Sweden,Spain,the Netherlands,the US,Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Get To Sanya:

• Get to Sanya by flight:Most of the visitors arrive in Sanya by flights. In fact, this is the most convenient way. There are many flight connections between major cities in China and Sanya.

• Get to Sanya by train: Everyday, there are regular departures from Beijing (T201/204, departure time 18:10, travel hours: 35 hours), Shanghai (K511， departure time 09:50, travel hours: 36.5 hours), and Guangzhou (K407, departure time 21：25, travel hours: 15 hours and a quarter) to Sanya.

• Get to Sanya by bus:Though you could travel to Sanya by buses from some mainland cities of China, but it is really a tiresome and long journey. Therefore, it is not recommended to tourists.

Sight Seeing

Tianyahaijiao is probably the most famous scenic spot on Hainan Island. It is located at the southwest seaside of Sanya. Literally it means the end of sky and the rim of the sea in Chinese.

Yalong Bay boasts impressive beauty. The crescent-shaped bay is about 7.5 kilometers long and covers an area of 18.6 square kilometers. it is dubbed as the Most Beautiful Bay of the Great China.

Ideally situated by the South Sea and two rivers, nestled in lush mountains, Sanya is an exceptional bird park.
