The 2014 Asia-Pacific Services Computing Conference (APSCC 2014)

December 4-6, 2014, Fuzhou, China

The services computing is a new cross-discipline that covers the science and technology needed to bridge the gap between business services and IT/telecommunication services. The goal of services computing is to develop new computing technology and thereby enable more advanced IT/telecommunication services to support business services more efficiently and effectively.

APSCC 2014 is an important forum for researchers and industry practitioners to exchange information regarding advancements in the state of art and practice of IT/telecommunication-driven business services and application services, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future directions of Services Computing.

Previous APSCC conferences were held in Guangzhou, China (2006), Tsukuba Science City, Japan (2007), Yilan, Taiwan China (2008), Biopolis Singapore (2009), Hangzhou China (2010), Jeju Korea (2011), Guilin China(2012). As the eighth event in the increasingly popular series, APSCC 2014 expects to attract outstanding researchers from all over the world to Fuzhou - the world famous beautiful city in China, and continues to establish the status of APSCC as one of the major conferences on the services computing.

Submission Guidelines

The Proceedings of the conference will be published by Conference Publishing Services (CPS) (http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/home).

Manuscripts submitted will be limited to 8 pages and REQUIRED to be formatted using the template provided by the CPS (you can find the WORD or Latex template at http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/submission). The submitted papers can only be in the format of PDF.

All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by the program committee members. The International Journal of Web Services Research (JWSR, SCI indexed) has confirmed to support the publication of APSCC2014 papers. All the APSCC 2014 submissions will go through the journal submission system. The PC members will review the papers through the journal review system and return the results before the APSCC 2014 notification date. Based on the review results, a fraction of the accepted papers will be published by JWSR after revision. According to Thomson Scientific, JWSR is listed in the 2008 Journal Citation Report with an SCI Impact Factor of 1.200. The journal ranks #47 of 99 in the Computer Science, Information Systems and ranks #37 of 86 in Computer Science, Software Engineering. We will also organize special issues in several high quality journals. At least one author of all the accepted paper should register and give a presentation in the conference.
