Located at the east outlying area of Wuhan, in Jiangxia District.
From the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), nine tombs of kings had been built,
and forty-eight tombs of sages and renowned persons at different dynasties
are also built at the same area, so it constitutes a large-scale tombs
group. The excavated tomb of King Zhao of Chu in the Ming Dynasty
is open to public now. The quiet and beautiful landscape of Longquan
Hill has been termed by various hermits in different dynasties as
¡°the land of peach blossoms ¨C a land of idyllic beauty¡±.
