Introduction

　　Our research introduces semantic method into the study of the storage models of data resources and Quality of Service (QoS) of grid. An appropriate QoS management model, described by ontology, will be established, and a prototype system will be built to verify the novel QoS model. Furthermore, the model will be utilized to manage QoS of current grids and give some guidelines to high performance resource scheduling. Moreover, the research will analyze the relationship of data resource in grid and conclude some rules, so that, some appropriate and high-performance resource management algorithms will be proposed for the grid system.

　　The research areas mainly include QoS measurement of semantic grid, QoS guaranteed mechanisms of semantic grid, novel storage models and theory in semantic grid, active-storage based semantic grid computing model, the complete set model of local semantic bases and the user view model, mapping view in public semantic base and semantic consistency model in global gird, the storage schema of semantic information, the dynamic update and lifetime management strategies and methods of semantic information in global grid, Group Peer to Group Peer (GP2GP) building and management system, anycast routing algorithms in semantic grid.
