WORKSHOP OVERVIEW |
|
Recently,
the new computing paradigm - Ubiquitous Computing (Ubi-com)
is just around the corner for us. Ubi-com is a user-centric
environment where various kinds of computers is embodied
into person, object and the environment which are connected
each others and the seamless services are provided to
users anytime, anywhere with any device. However, the
many security risks and problems can be occurred because
data resources can be connected and accessed by anyone
in Ubi-com. Therefore, it will be needed to more secure
and intelligent mechanism in Ubi-com.
The main purpose
of this workshop (SSDU-07) is to foster research in
the areas of security and intelligence integrating into
Ubi-com and data management technology.
In addition,
the workshop will provide an opportunity for academic
and industry professionals to discuss the latest issues
and progress in the area of Ubi-com, security, data
management.

PAPER SUBMISSION |
|
SSDU-07 invites authors
to submit original and unpublished work. Please submit
paper with 10~12 pages in Springer LNCS format. Paper
submission should be electronic in only PDF format. For further information regarding paper submission

information. Submissions must not exceed 12 pages, including tables and figures,
with only PDF. Submission of a paper implies that should the paper be accepted,
at least one of the authors will register and present the paper in the
workshop.

addition, for no-show authors, their
affiliations will receive a notification.

The workshop
proceedings will be published by Springer LNCS after workshop is
finished (Nov., 2007).
Outstanding
papers will be published for a Special
Issue on International Journal
of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (IJAHUC)
and International Journal of Smart Home
(IJSH).
