Every accepted paper must have one regular registration before June 10, 2006. Please register before deadline to guarantee your paper to be included in the conference proceedings. Thanks for your cooperation.

Author Instructions

All accepted papers should be in the format described here. Any format problem may cause your paper excluded in the conference proceedings.

Each paper can not be more than 10 pages. One extra page will cost US $60 and two extra pages will cost US $100.  Authors can buy not more than two pages. The copyright form will be scanned and sent together with the camera-ready paper by email.  In order to restrict the size of the copyright form, it is requested to scan as a PDF file.

Please submit your final camera-ready package as an email attachment to  uic06@hust.edu.cn before June 10, 2006. The subject of email should be "UIC06-PaperID-First_Author_Lastname". The camera-ready package should be a compressed zip or tar file containing:
1. all the source files (including figures, style files, templates),
2. the DVI file (for papers prepared using LateX or TeX),
3. the final PS/PDF file, and
4. the scanned copyright form in PDF.
The file name should be also "UIC06-PaperID-First_Author_Lastname".

Authors of registered papers, or at least one of them, are requested to present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will be removed from the digital library (indexed by SCI) after the conference.

    - Morning:   Opening Ceremony and Keynotes in Wuhan
    - Afternoon: From Wuhan to Yichang, and boarding at Yichang
Sept. 4-5
    - Conference sessions in the cruise ship along Three Gorges
Sept. 6
    - Morning:   Closing and arriving at Chongqing.

Registration Fee and Items Included

The conference regular registration fee includes the conference proceedings, access to all sessions, meals during the conference and accommodation in the cruise from the afternoon of Sept. 3 to the morning of Sept. 6.  The student and accompany registrations do not include conference proceedings, and one extra copy of the proceedings will cost US $100.

One room (with two beds) in the cruise will be shared by two persons. One bed in the cruise will be guaranteed for each registered paper with the regular registration. A limited number of rooms/beds are available for co-authors, accompanies, and no-author participants. The limited rooms/beds will be decided based on first registration first reservation criterion. When the rooms/beds are full, we will stop accepting registration.

Hotel Information

The accommodations at Wuhan and Chongqing are not included in the registration fees. We will soon provide you the hotel information at Wuhan and Chongqing to assist you choosing and booking hotels in the two cities.

Invitation Letter and Visa Information

The conference will mail an official invitation letter to each registered author upon a request. If you need the invitation letter, please email us your request as well as your affiliation, postal address and fax number. As soon as you receive the invitation letter, please apply for visa at the Chinese Embassy/Consulate/Visa Office  in your country.
